Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Unit) in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical procedures aligned with state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, provide health education and counseling, and support patient recovery through supportive and restorative therapy. Additional responsibilities include executing delegated medical functions, monitoring therapy plans, documenting in compliance with guidelines, and utilizing available resources. The position may require floating to other departments within scope and being on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 9 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), valid current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing, certification relevant to the unit or service.
• Skills: Nursing care, execution of medical functions, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, documentation, resource utilization, registered nurse experience.
• The role involves performing health assessments, executing patient care procedures, and documenting clinical activities in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, with possible on-call responsibilities during scheduled hours.
