Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill pediatric patients. The position requires flexibility with scheduling and may involve floating to pediatric units as needed. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 09/15/2026 and conclude on 03/20/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA); 0+ years of recent Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience; candidates must be flexible with scheduling and willing to float to pediatric units as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel Pediatric Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience; more than 2 years of recent PICU experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Will not be able to accommodate block booking. This role involves floating to pediatric units when necessary, requiring adaptability to different clinical environments.
