Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in a community-focused healthcare organization. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, supervising clinical staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires critical thinking, independence, and strong communication skills to support patients and their families.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) & Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice & Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor & American Heart Association-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA-ACLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience
- Additional Information: The role involves collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include discharge planning, delegating duties, and providing education to patients and families to promote health and safety.
