Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse position available in an acute care setting. The role involves providing high-quality patient care on a MedSurg unit with telemetry monitoring, working rotating 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The assignment includes every other weekend, holidays, and flu vaccination requirements during the season. Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole is encouraged to serve a diverse patient population.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, and location requirements include current Massachusetts RN license (all licenses, past or present), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, EPIC electronic medical record experience, and at least 2 years of recent travel experience in Med Surg/Telemetry. Candidate must document travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Flu vaccine during flu season; ability to work every other major holiday; proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole; two recent manager/supervisor references in Med Surg/Telemetry, matching skills checklist, and a drivers license with an address matching demographics.
• Additional Information:
  • Must work every other major holiday and be responsible for rhythm identification every 4 hours.
  • No central monitor technician; monitors are on the unit.
  • No block scheduling or on-call duties.
  • Floating: Yes, if needed.
  • Will accept local candidates within 50 miles; local rate applies.
  • RTO requests must be included at time of submission; not guaranteed after confirmation.
  • Candidates must demonstrate EPIC electronic health record experience.
