Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in an acute care setting. The RN is responsible for delivering patient-centered care, performing nursing assessments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role involves supervising licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, ensuring patient safety, and supporting discharge planning. The shift is scheduled for days, with a total of 36 hours per week, starting from August 31, 2026, through November 30, 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN); BLS certification required prior to first shift; ACLS certification required prior to first shift for CIRH only; a minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience; education relevant to nursing practice; ability to work in the specified location; and related certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Progressive Care Unit setting preferred.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops and updates care plans, and documents all patient care activities accurately and timely. Participates in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning, providing patient education and ensuring continuity of care. Collaborates with the healthcare team to monitor patient progress and safety, and assumes charge responsibility as directed after orientation. Maintains clear communication with team members and participates in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education and self-study.
