Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specialist is needed at a general healthcare facility located in Sun City Center, Florida. This role involves providing patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit, with duties including supporting procedures such as Left Heart Catheterizations, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, Pacemaker placements, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Stress Tests, and Loop Recorders. The position offers a focus on team collaboration, flexibility, and commitment to quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have Cardiac Cath Lab experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Scrub/Monitor/Circulating nurse is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Bed count: 138 beds, with approximately 130 in the unit.
  • Staffing includes 6 full-time team members.
  • Electromechanical equipment includes GE Innova and MacLab systems.
  • EMR System: Meditech.
  • Typical procedures performed: Left Heart Cath, PCI, Pacesetters, TEE, Stress Test, Loop Recorders.
  • The role entails working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
