A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position is available in an unspecified healthcare facility. - Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, active Nursys license number, at least 2 years of work history with experience, ability to explain all employment gaps over 90 days, skills checklist completion, prior travel experience required, and the ability to work in a teaching hospital environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Clinical Observation Unit and familiarity with charge responsibilities (training provided).
- Travel Required: Yes
- Float: No, float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for 09/08 and 09/21 (every other week on Mondays). The role involves managing patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6, with weekend work based on unit need. The organization emphasizes a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires. Submission must include current work history, skills checklist, and copies of licenses and certifications; requested time off or reason to return to origin (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. Assignments may be canceled up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations.
