Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma OR within a busy, fast-paced environment. The incumbent will support a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics, performing a variety of complex surgical procedures.

Location: Reno, NV
Position: Registered Nurse (Operating Room)
Department: General Surgery
Shift: Days, Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 4x10-hour shifts, 0645-1715
Schedule: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun: 0645-1715, No call
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
Required Qualifications: NV State Registered Nurse license prior to start; BLS, ACLS certifications; CMP completed within 1 year of start date; 2 years experience in Trauma Operating Room setting
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurosurgery (ACDF, spinal fusions, crani-procedures), Da Vinci Xi robotics, pediatric and adult trauma care
Additional Information: The position involves diagnosing and treating responses to health problems, assessment, planning, and providing comprehensive nursing services across the patient age spectrum. The role demands scientific knowledge, ongoing learning, and coordination with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-volume trauma center environment.
