Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in an outpatient setting. This role involves caring for patients undergoing labor, delivery, and postpartum care, with a focus on high-risk obstetrics. The position requires a compassionate and adaptable healthcare professional to support both clinical procedures and patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Shift: Nights
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/15/2026 to 12/15/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Current Licensing as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NURSING degree/certification; no minimum years of experience required.
  • Unit Information: Labor & Delivery Department, approximately 10 beds (including labor and postpartum rooms), with 24 bedside RNs.
  • Staffing: Day shift core team includes 3 RNs, 1 scrub tech, 1 unit secretary; night shift patient ratios of 2:1, high risk 1:1 or 2:1 if stable.
  • Equipment: EMR systems (Centricity and Meditech).
  • Procedures: Cesarean sections, bilateral tubal ligations (BTLs), salpingectomies.
  • Personality Fit: Open and adaptable.
  • Additional Information: Bilingual skills and scrub tech experience are preferred; candidates without these skills will not be considered.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum and medical floors (only as a tech).
  • Dress Code: Scrub color is royal blue.
  • Unit Policies: Please review and adhere to unit policies and guidelines.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 09/15/2026 to 12/15/2026.
