Description
Job Summary:
The orthopedic, surgical technician, or operating room technician (ORT) position is located in a busy operating room environment that focuses on orthopedic, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, and neuro procedures. This role involves supporting a team of healthcare professionals in a facility equipped with advanced technology, including robotic surgical systems and neurospine microscopes. The technician will be responsible for assisting during surgeries, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining sterile environments to support optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology experience, neuro experience preferred; ACLS certification required for registered nurses
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience, call coverage ability

- Additional Information: This role involves assigned stay-late calls during weekdays and occasional overnight shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. It may include some holiday shifts on an as-needed basis. The technician will support a facility with approximately 10 operating rooms and a staff of around 50, working in a dynamic environment that values diligent team players with a positive attitude.
