Job Summary:
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Dallas, TX. This role involves providing specialized critical care for surgical patients within a dedicated ICU setting. The position requires clinical expertise in adult critical care, with a focus on patient assessment, intervention, and ensuring optimal outcomes for individuals recovering from surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Texas, 0 years minimum experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and preferred certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), hypothermia protocol, and Meditech documentation system.
• Floats: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves maintaining a clean and professional appearance, including specific dress code and body art policies. Procedures on the unit include central line placements, bedside thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations. The unit caters primarily to surgical patients, especially those with oncology backgrounds, requiring a compassionate and focused approach to patient care.
