Description
Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves caring for patients in a mixed acuity unit with a focus on open-heart recovery. The position requires a minimum of two years of Cardiovascular ICU nursing experience and involves floating to similar units as needed, including progressive care units. The scheduled shift is from 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours, with shifts varying. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiovascular ICU setting; current Indiana or compact RN license; BLS (AHA only); ACLS (AHA only); minimum 1 year of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Open-heart recovery experience; ICU or Level 1/Level 2 facility experience; travel experience; experience with EPIC charting and Pyxis.
- Float: Float to other units/departments when needed, including down to progressive units with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio as required.
- Additional Information: Orientation will be Monday to Wednesday of the first week, scheduled after education days; mandatory attendance for all three days. Up to 24 hours notice is required for cancellation within each 13-week period.
