Job Details

• Location: Salem, VA
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/18/2027
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred
• Requirements: 2-3 years of ER experience; candidates without these skills will not be considered
• Experience: Minimum of 0 years (specific for this role)
• Unit information: 27-bed emergency department with 50 RN staff and 25 medics, patient ratios of 4-6:1, typical procedures include RSI, Sepsis interventions, Stroke protocol with tPA, central line placement, psych patient care, transfers under EMTALA
• Additional notes: No on-call; four weekend shifts in a four-week period (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days).
