Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in Salem, Virginia, focusing on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Candidates must have completed 2-3 travel assignments, possess 2-3 years of ER experience, and be available for the duration from 08/24/2026 to 11/23/2026.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high volume, high acuity ERs with patient ratios of 5:1 is preferred. Additional certifications such as Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are a plus.
• Additional Information: The ER unit maintains a team-oriented environment, with a focus on patient safety and compliance with departmental policies. Limited to no float requirements, and the department maintains specific dress code standards with navy blue or white scrubs.
