Description
Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric Unit) in a behavioral health setting. This position involves providing specialized psychiatric care within a mental health facility, supporting patient stabilization and recovery. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day and evening shifts available, 8 hours per shift, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid psychiatric nurse practitioner certification, a relevant master's or doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, at least one year of behavioral health experience, location-specific licensing, and a minimum of one year of professional experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health unit is highly preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves providing psychiatric assessments, medication management, crisis intervention, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans.
