Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position in Salem, VA. The role involves providing care to post-operative patients on a 36-bed unit with a team of healthcare professionals. The position requires a focus on wound care, drain management, and patient advocacy, working primarily during day shifts.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, or Years of Experience: Valid BLS certification; no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit cares for post-operative patients and maintains drains and wound care. Candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
