Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Orange Park, Florida. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical unit. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, adhering to unit policies, and working collaboratively with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience, including 1 year of Charge Nurse experience; certifications in TNCC, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgery, trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, vascular, open heart procedures; familiarity with Meditech documentation system; strong leadership skills.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The environment includes a surgical unit with 10 beds, equipped with advanced surgical technology and documentation systems. The team values experience in trauma and complex surgical procedures, with a focus on high-quality patient care. Upon submission, candidates must include proof of TNCC certification as part of their application packet.
