Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse position is located in a Level II Trauma Operating Room within a busy and fast-paced facility. The role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care to a diverse patient population including neonates to geriatrics, performing procedures such as trauma surgeries, Neurosurgery, urology, vascular, open heart, and minimally invasive surgeries. This position requires clinical expertise, strong assessment skills, and the ability to coordinate care effectively throughout perioperative episodes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NV State Registered Nurse license prior to start; Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Experience: 2 years in Trauma Operating Room setting; Certification in Pre-op/Recovery Nursing, PACU, OR, and SDS with CMP completed within 1 year of start date.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves diagnosing and treating human responses to health problems, assessing and planning for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and coordinating care among interdisciplinary teams.
