Job Summary
Neuro/Orthopedic/Trauma RN - Location: Maine. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor, focusing on neurosurgical patients such as spinal surgeries, brain tumors, seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, and joint replacements. The role requires a proactive team player with a positive attitude, working primarily night shifts to support patient needs during overnight hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: No specific certifications required. Neuro experience required. Education modules may vary as per unit standards.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurosurgical patients such as spinal surgeries, brain tumors, seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, or joint replacements.
- Additional Information: The position is open to candidates with no minimum years of experience. It is a coverage role for leave, with start and end dates from 09/07/2026 to 11/23/2026. Flexibility to float to other units as needed. The EMR system in use is Epic. Dress code includes scrubs in any color, maintaining a professional appearance.
