Job Summary
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialty position is located in a community hospital setting. The role involves working during day shifts with a schedule that requires call duties once a week on weekdays, plus one weekend every 6 to 8 weeks, with a 30-minute response time. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to patient recovery following anesthesia in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, starting at 7:00 AM or 10:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Medical Assistant (MA) license; at least 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience; must have separated from the healthcare provider organization for 6 or more months and be in good standing; no local candidates accepted, within a 50-mile radius of the hospital, will not be considered
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital environment with community hospital experience preferred
• Additional Information: The position requires availability for call once a week on weekdays, and one weekend every 6 to 8 weeks. The response time for call is 30 minutes. The facility has 73 beds and is a community-focused hospital setting.
