Description

Job Summary:
Telemetry nursing professionals are sought for a location within the healthcare provider organization. This role involves providing specialized nurse care in an acute care setting, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The position offers an opportunity to work night shifts, ensuring coverage during critical hours, and requires adaptability to float across multiple units within the designated zone.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting, certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), and the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in telemetry or similar cardiac monitoring units
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within zone 2 locations, covering a 60-mile radius, including ICU, progressive care units, stepdown units, and medical-surgical units. Float involves working across different acuity levels, potentially including CNA/Sitter capacity, with paid travel time.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should ensure availability throughout the week of orientation, which must be completed in the state. The facility allows cancellation of up to four shifts over the 13-week assignment or up to three shifts for shorter durations. This role involves working within the EPIC charting system.
