Job Summary:
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) registered nurse position located in the area. The role involves providing post-anesthesia patient care with a focus on recovery and monitoring. The shift is scheduled for evening hours from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, following a four-week rotation based on departmental needs.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current Massachusetts RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required. Recent (within 2 years) pre-operative care experience preferred.
• Schedule: Evening shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in PACU or related perioperative setting.
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass a PASS/FAIL ECG/Telemetry test and medication test during onboarding with only one attempt allowed. Tests are administered via Zoom prior to assignment, with a minimum score of 85%. Time off requests exceeding 4 days will not be approved. Candidates must be separated from any previous employment with the organization for at least 6 months. This role requires a minimum response time of 30 minutes when on call, with one 24-hour weekend shift and three nightly calls per month based on departmental needs. No local travelers are accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Biweekly orientation and IVS interview scheduling are required.
