Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Trauma specialty position available at a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. The role involves providing care for adult trauma patients, post-surgical management for general surgery, vascular surgery (carotid, etc.), and neurosurgery cases. The patient ratio typically ranges from 1:1 to 1:3, with an eight-bed unit. This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic trauma care environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Nursys license or equivalent, successful verification of license/certification, valid drivers license or state ID, completion of Ascension profile, professional references, and latest resume
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous trauma ICU experience, BLS and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Additional Information: The position primarily focuses on adult trauma patients and post-surgical management for general, vascular, and neurosurgeries. The patient care environment demands a high level of clinical competency in trauma nursing and critical care practices. The employment start date is scheduled for 09/13/2026, with an end date of 12/12/2026.
