Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Wichita, Kansas. This seasonal travel assignment involves working in a busy surgical unit specializing in orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, and other specialized procedures. The role requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The position is scheduled to start on 09/22/2026 and end on 12/22/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and a minimum of one year current acute care operating room nurse experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedic, neurological, and vascular procedures; prior Meditech EMR experience.
• Responsibilities: Assist in various surgical procedures including orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, and minimally invasive surgeries such as TAVR and MAKO. Maintain patient safety and provide exceptional surgical support.
• Additional Information: The unit offers new equipment such as DaVinci Robotics and Mako systems. Staff members are experienced, with a focus on patient care excellence. Flexible on call and schedule options are available, including 4-10s or 3-12s shifts, with routine late night and weekend duties.
