Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position available in an urban healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment, with a focus on teamwork and patient experience. The position requires adaptability to unit policies and procedures, including emergency protocols and equipment usage.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification, and at least 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), experience with Meditech Magic and Meditech Expanse electronic medical records system.
• Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities such as IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation, and splinting. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork and patient-centered care focus. The work environment is equipped with defibrillators, Hamilton Ventilators, Welch Allyn devices, bedside cardiac monitoring, and splinting equipment. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes, and necessary assessment tools.
