Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CVICU) specialty position located in the ICU. This role involves providing specialized critical care for patients with cardiovascular conditions, including management of dysrhythmias, post-cardiac surgery care, and hemodynamic monitoring. The position starts on 08/30/2026 and concludes on 10/25/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois licensure, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; Epic experience on a cardiovascular-focused campus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, post-cardiac surgery, pulmonary artery lines, LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, ventilator management, and emergency medications.
• Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Glenbrook MICU, Evanston ICU, or Highland Park ICU if needed.
• Additional Information: The role involves interpretation and management of complex cardiovascular conditions, including advanced hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and ventilator support. Candidates must submit an updated resume, CV ICU skills checklist within the past year, reference from a supervisor within the last year, a passing EKG test score of 80% or above, and verification of Illinois licensure.
