Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse position in Highland Park, Illinois. This role involves providing critical care to patients in a high-acuity environment, including emergency and surgical cases. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 30, 2026, with an anticipated duration of approximately 12 weeks.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, ACLS certification, NIHSS certification, Epic electronic health record experience, passing an EKG test, resume submission, one reference from the past year, skills checklist, all active certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong critical care skills with experience managing ventilators, arterial lines, and balloon pumps.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units such as Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, or Urgent Care Unit to care for medical-surgical patients and support multiple facilities including Glenbrook, Evanston, and Skokie.
• Additional Information: The orientation begins on Monday, with credentials due by Thursday before the start date. Orientation is 8 hours of non-billable time.
