Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in a tertiary care regional referral hospital located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing emergency nursing care across all patient populations in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting. The position offers an opportunity to work in a technologically advanced facility known for clinical excellence and specialized services, with a focus on team collaboration and high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license, ACLS, PALS, and CEN certifications preferred. Candidates must have at least 1 year of emergency room nursing experience, with a minimum of 0 years required. Education requirements include a current nursing degree. Experience in trauma or critical care settings is preferred. Candidates must possess all Pennsylvania clearances, including Child Abuse History, FBI, and State Police background checks, prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience and critical care background preferred.
• Additional Information: Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be available to start between August 31, 2026, and November 30, 2026, with the ability to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids. Candidates are required to have no RTO (Request for Time Off) during the assignment period and should be located at least 60 miles from the facility for travel consideration. Successful candidates will be responsible for completing all screening requirements prior to start.
