Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology department, primarily during day shifts. The assignment offers guaranteed hours and requires call responsibilities. Candidates must possess relevant sedation experience and meet all certification and licensure requirements.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour days with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of experience in a related clinical setting; licensure to submit; location within 50 miles; passing a pass/fail exam during orientation with a 90% passing score; valid driver's license.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Sedation experience.
  • Additional Information: RN candidates are required to pass an open-book skills exam during orientation using provided resources. Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas; refusal to remove artificial nails may lead to contract termination. The position is within an acute care setting and involves working in a Level 1 Trauma environment with charting in EPIC. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment or 3 shifts if the assignment is shorter.
