Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry (RN) Night shift requires at least 1 year of relevant experience. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients with various neurological conditions, including post-surgical neurology patients and those with different neurological diagnoses. The position offers the opportunity to work within a designated stroke unit and a Spine Center of Excellence, utilizing advanced skills and certifications.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/08/2026 to 12/08/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, at least 1 year of nursing experience, experience with charting systems (Epic required), neurologic nursing experience, comfortable with NIH scale and proficient in caring for neurosurgical and neurology patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a neuroscience or neurosurgical unit, advanced certifications, familiarity with Neuro Stepdown, procedural sedation, and trauma care.
- Additional Information: Position may require floating between units based on hospital needs. Candidates must be flexible to work every other weekend and commit to working three of the five major holidays. All scheduling and RTO requests must be specified upfront. Candidates should include responses to prior experience with Providence facilities.
