Description

Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Units (ICU) at a facility in Manchester, Connecticut. This role involves providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a hospital setting, supporting both ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Units. The position requires flexibility to float between units based on census and operational needs.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS certifications; 2+ years of critical care experience; valid RN license; location in the state of Connecticut; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: Support will include ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Units; floating between units based on census and operational needs; limited time off with pre-approval required; facility is transitioning from Meditech to Epic electronic medical record system in June 2026.
