Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery nurse in a healthcare facility specializing in maternal and neonatal care. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, ensuring safety and comfort for mother and newborn. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where care is provided, Graduate of an accredited nursing program, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification, 1 year recent full-time experience within the last three years in a healthcare setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field, Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last two years, One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years, High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience preferred
- Additional Information: The role requires skills in high-risk obstetric care, emergency response, and patient monitoring during labor and delivery. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.
