Job Summary:
An RN (Registered Nurse) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry is needed for an assignment in a healthcare facility designated for 16 to 26 weeks starting from October 5, 2026. The position involves working night shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role requires providing patient care in a resource pool and floating across units, including medical-surgical and telemetry. The assignment includes working at least every other weekend, with schedules adjusted to meet patient care needs. Experience in epic electronic health record systems within the past two years is essential.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled from 10/05/2026 to 04/05/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; CMSRN certification is preferred; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start; Epic experience within the past 2 years is required; valid NY license or proof of application with applied date must be in the submission packet. Licensing in New York takes 6-8 weeks and should be considered when scheduling the start date.
• Preferred Qualifications: CMSRN certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment duration: 16-26 weeks.
  • No block scheduling is permitted.
  • Bi-weekly orientation sessions are scheduled on Mondays.
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
  • Complete work history, including bed count, electronic medical record (EMR) system, and facility type, must be provided for submission.
  • Reliable transportation, such as personal or rental vehicles, is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
