Job Summary:
Neurosurgery and orthopedic specialty technicians are sought for a 225-bed specialty care hospital located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula. This facility features a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine unit, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. The role involves providing operating room support with bi-weekly orientation sessions, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician, high school diploma or equivalent, and 0 years of experience. Michigan state licensure or registration as required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in neurosurgery or orthopedic surgical settings is preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting surgical teams, preparing operating rooms, and maintaining sterile environments. Candidates should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in high-pressure situations. Float: Float rotation may be required.
