Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves providing care on a telemetry unit with a large cardiac population, offering a unique opportunity to work with acute and chronic medical cases. The position requires flexibility, teamwork, and the willingness to float across inpatient Med/Surg and Rehab units.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care telemetry hospital experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong telemetry experience and chemo certification are highly desirable; candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Additional Information: Experience with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR). The role involves floating to various inpatient units, including Med/Surg and Rehab, with a patient ratio typically around 1:5. Flexibility and team orientation are essential.
