Description

Job Summary:
Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) in an outdoor location. This role requires certified surgical technologists with Labor & Delivery experience, particularly in cesarean section procedures. The position involves supporting surgical teams by preparing supplies, assisting during procedures, and managing patient positioning and room turnover during night shifts.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications and registration as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); completion of an accredited surgical technology program or degree from an accredited nursing program; 2 years of scrubbing experience in Labor & Delivery; BLS certification; high school diploma or equivalency; must reside within 50 miles of the location
Preferred Qualifications: Good communication skills
Additional Information: The surgical technologist will be responsible for case cleanup, patient positioning, moving patients, and facilitating room turnovers. Experience in cesarean sections (C/S) is essential, with an emphasis on supporting surgical procedures within a labor and delivery environment. The position starts on 08/31/2026 and concludes on 11/28/2026.
