Job Summary:
Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Lewiston, ME. This position involves providing high-quality medical-surgical care on a 37-bed unit with a focus on telemetry, bariatric, and surgical patient populations. The role requires experienced nursing professionals skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation, management of diverse diagnoses, and capable of adapting to a high-churn environment in a collaborative setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS or BCLS certification (ACLS preferred), at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units, experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, bariatric experience preferred, and must have experience with surgical and telemetry patient care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bariatric experience and familiarity with ultrasound IV teams are advantageous.
• Additional Information: This position is located on a specialized inpatient unit actively managing general surgery, trauma, bariatrics, plastics, and urology cases. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with capabilities in managing complex patient cases, including wound vacs and various IV therapies.
