Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located in a healthcare facility, is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical (MS) setting. This role involves float within multiple units, requiring flexibility and adherence to safety protocols, while supporting the organization's clinical operations.

Job Details

• Position Description: Orientation dates are scheduled for 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26. The role involves working in a Med/Surg Float Pool on 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with schedules made by the unit. This position requires the candidate to be flexible to meet staffing needs and includes float to the emergency room as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid TN license or compact license on file at the time of submission; BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Med/Surg setting; prior travel healthcare experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit serves adult patients over 18, with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:6. Scrubs Navy are required. EMR system used is Cerner. The position involves floating within five Med/Surg units and requires working weekends.
• Submission Requirements: IVS to interview, and manager to extend the offer.
