Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a magnet designated facility with a Level II Trauma designation. This assignment involves caring for a diverse adult patient population, utilizing a co-care/virtual nursing model, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires working night shifts with a schedule of 3 days per week, and a commitment of at least 36 hours weekly.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 09/28/2026 and ending 12/28/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid AK RN license in hand, minimum of 2 years of experience, current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, and relevant skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, cardiac telemetry, and complex medical-surgical patient care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), neuro stepdown, and management of cardiac arrhythmias is preferred.
- Open to Auto Offer: Yes, candidates must have AK RN license in hand for immediate consideration.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be willing to work weekends, may be floated within scope to lower acuity units, renal care, neuro, and medical-surgical areas, and must be flexible to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays. References covering at least 1 year of work within the past 3 years are required.
