Description

Job Summary:
L& D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in en_US. This position involves evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in postpartum nursing settings. The role includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, developing individualized care plans, performing therapeutic interventions, managing patient care, and advocating for evidence-based practice standards. The position emphasizes postpartum care with a focus on the mother and newborn.

Job Details:

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 x 12 shifts, every other weekend, 3 out of 6 holidays required, no on-call requirement, no float requirement.
Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing), BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), N/A.
Required Hard Skills: Labor and Delivery, OR, Postpartum, Antepartum.
Required Soft Skills: Newborn care.
Skills: POSTPARTUM CARE, ANTEPARTUM CARE, MOTHER BABY NURSING, LABOR AND DELIVERY, NEWBORN CARE.
Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
Certifications & Licensure: BLS (must be AHA), NRP, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
Start Date: 09/21/2026
End Date: 12/19/2026
Experience: 0 years minimum required, with a preference for candidates with 5+ years of Mother baby experience.
