Job Summary:
Lactation and Delivery Department - The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs. The nurse will identify patient needs, develop individualized care plans, perform therapeutic interventions, and advocate for evidence-based practice standards. The position requires providing patient-centric care and supporting innovative care delivery in the Labor and Delivery setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week, every other weekend required, and three out of six holidays required.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3+ years of Mother Baby (Labor and Delivery) experience, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, and NRP certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree, additional certifications such as AWHONN-Advanced or C-EFM.
• Additional Information: The role involves clinical documentation, advocating for evidence-based practice, and delivering patient-centered care tailored to labor and delivery patients.
