Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This position involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical floor within an acute care setting. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of maintaining open communication and critical thinking skills to deliver quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; 2+ years of experience; certification in IV and NG insertion; flexibility to float to any med/surg area within scope; required education and licensure applicable to the state and role
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care or similar medical-surgical settings; excellent communication skills; critical thinker and team player
• Additional Information: Involves working with a patient population inclusive of geriatric and adult patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. The unit is equipped with electronic health record system (Meditech) and requires maintaining professional appearance in scrub attire. No weekend or call requirements.
