Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Carthage, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a Med/Surg floor at a critical access hospital. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, and 12-hour shifts. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, to November 23, 2026.

• Unit Information:
  • Patient ratios of 1:5
  • Adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases
  • Specific diagnosis and treatment areas include COPD, pneumonia, hip fractures, altered mental status, falls, UTI, abdominal pain
• Dress Code: Scrubs in any color; casual wear is not allowed.
• Additional Notes:
  • Local candidates must be at least 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel.
  • Must have required certifications prior to start date.
  • Experience with IV, Foley, pain management, and EMAR is preferred.
  • No float requirements.
  • The hospital is located on the Cumberland River, offering recreational water activities nearby.
