Job Summary
Step Down Unit Nurse required in a 30-bed step-down care setting with experience in critical care service line duties. The role involves managing patients with conditions such as acute coronary syndromes, post-cardiac surgery, sepsis, respiratory failure, and other complex cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: A valid nursing license, a minimum of 1 year of experience in a step-down or similar environment, and current drivers license or state ID. Additional verification includes Nursys license/certificate, professional profile, and three professional references.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves providing care on a 30-bed step-down unit that may include float responsibilities across the critical care service line. Responsibilities include managing patients with a variety of complex cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions, including tracheostomy management, post-cardiac surgery care, and stabilization of acutely ill patients.
