Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at a healthcare facility in Wilmington, DE. This role involves providing perioperative care for pediatric patients undergoing open heart surgical procedures. The candidate should have prior experience in Pediatric CVOR settings and be committed to delivering high-quality nursing care.
Job Details:
- Position: RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Location: Wilmington, DE
- Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- End Date: 11/30/2026
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Pediatric CVOR experience, at least 4 years of nursing experience in a CVOR setting, and current certification in Pediatric CVOR or equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric advanced life support certification, previous experience working with pediatric cardiac patients, and familiarity with hospital protocols for open heart surgery.
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting pediatric patients through complex cardiac procedures, adhering to hospital standards, and working collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and care quality.
