Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a surgical unit located at a healthcare facility. The role involves assisting in robotic and open procedures, including hysterectomies, Whipple procedures, Ivor Lewis, ex-laps, prostatectomies, adrenalectomies, thyroidectomy, and parathyroidectomy. The position offers a day shift schedule with consistent hours, focusing on providing exemplary care to oncology patients in a supportive environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 08/24/2026 to 11/23/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), pertinent certification for the role, proficiency in the operating room environment, and zero years of experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: DaVinci robotic surgical experience
- Float: Not applicable (no float requirement specified)
- Additional Information: The unit utilizes Meditech documentation system and features advanced equipment such as two DaVinci XI robotic surgical systems. The team includes registered nurses, surgical technologists, and surgical assistants. The unit maintains a no-call, no-weekend, no-holiday, and no-late shift schedule, emphasizing a stable environment dedicated to oncology surgical procedures.
