Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a regional healthcare facility. This role involves providing couplet care in a family birth setting with experience in labor and delivery, operating room, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), and postpartum care. The RN will support a busy unit with approximately 80+ deliveries per month, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and babies. The position requires teamwork, clinical expertise, and RN charge experience, with scheduled rotating 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Working 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends. Call rotation typically involves one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, which may be subject to change.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license to practice in Colorado; current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; stable employment status; ability to obtain flu vaccine by 10/31/2025; minimum of 1-year experience in labor and delivery or related setting; proven RN charge experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to work within a team in a fast-paced obstetric environment; experience with evidence-based care practices; familiarity with electronic medical records; additional certifications related to labor and delivery are a plus.
  • Additional Information:
    • Radius rule: Travelers permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
    • CAPS requirement: Registration in the Colorado Child Care Unit (CCU) system; application may take up to two weeks.
    • Ensure correctness of SSN and date of birth in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues.
    • Guaranteed hours will not apply on holidays for clinic workers.
