Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting. Responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Developing, implementing, and coordinating individualized plans of care based on patient needs. Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required, three out of six holidays required, no on-call requirement, no float requirement.
• Required Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice, ASN degree with Advanced AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, Operating Room (OR), Postpartum, or Antepartum, and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in related specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: Scrubs are provided in navy blue. Required soft skill includes newborn care.
