Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in a cardiac intensive care environment. This position involves a rotating schedule with day and night shifts, supporting patients with multisystem failure and advanced heart failure. The candidate will be responsible for providing specialized critical care to post-operative cardiac surgical patients and those on mechanically circulatory support devices.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating, with 12-hour shifts.
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, starting on 09/20/2026 and ending on 12/19/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license/certificate verification, professional resume, and references; 1+ years of experience in critical cardiac care; experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) devices highly preferred; expertise in advanced heart failure management required; travel experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Supports patients on impella, durable VAD, ecmo, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP); clinician to patient ratio is 1:2; unit has 16 beds and census.
