Job Summary
Vascular and Intravenous (IV) Vascular Access Nurse - Location: The healthcare provider. This position involves providing specialized vascular and IV therapy services in a short-term acute care setting. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to specific clinical and procedural standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: TRAVEL EXP Vascular/PICC IV Therapy RN Req 10749. This role requires the candidate to be a Vascular and PICC RN with EPIC HARDSTOP compliance. The position involves floating between units with no on-call requirement, and every other weekend work.
• Certifications, Education, Location, and Experience Requirements: Current BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in vascular access, including PICC placements, skills in infection control, sterile technique, and vascular device management. Valid licensure in the applicable state, with a compact license required at submission. Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Performing ultrasound-guided PIV and PICC insertions, managing vascular devices, patient education on catheter care, and maintaining sterile technique.
• Certifications & Skills: BLS certification, expertise in adult inpatient vascular procedures, and familiarity with Epic charting system and related clinical skills.
• Submission Requirements: Must include response to whether the candidate has worked at a Providence facility in any capacity, with location and dates. Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required before start.
